The largest region in
France, Midi-Pyrenees, was created in the 20th century. The
name was chosen based on geography and has nothing to do with
the historical provinces in the region. The region is located
between the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts.
Albi is located on the Tarn
River. One of its main attractions is the Toulouse-Lautrec
Museum which contains more than 1000 works, including 31
of his famous posters. It is the largest collection of the
artist in one place. The museum is located in the Plalais de la Berbie,
which dates from the 13th century.

Millau. The area is known for its
sheepskin gloves. It is also an area used extensively for
paragliding.
Nicknamed the "Pink City" because of its
distinctive brick architecture, Toulouse is in
Southwest France. It is one of the centers of European
